Breaking BUD/S: How Regular Guys Can Become Navy SEALs D. H. Xavier

Does anyone know if a BUD/s candidate will be allowed to bring their own boots to BUD/s, even if said boots will be the ones issues at BUS/s? I have the utmost respect for the work the people over at NSW put into the PTG, but guess what: Hundreds (literally), and maybe thousands of SEALs became SEALs without it. Bottom line is, stick to running shoes guys. BUD/S students are issued boots while at Great Lakes, so they get a chance to break them in, and will begin to wear them during running and PT during BUD/S Orientation (the portion of BUD/S previously referred to as INDOC). I know it's been said that it is best to not do your regular runs in boots, but I was thinking of getting a pair and doing a single short run every other week in boots to just get some experience. You will understand what I mean after you start trying to break them in. Are there any Get it done by a professional.
